LiftBasic — Privacy Policy Last updated: 18 July 2026
LiftBasic app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All information you enter stays securely on your device and, if enabled, in your private iCloud storage through Apple’s built‑in syncing.
LiftBasic does not collect any personal information.
The LiftBasic app does not:
Create user accounts
Track you across apps or websites
Send data to external servers
Use analytics, advertising, or third‑party SDKs
All data you enter, such as workouts, body weight, hydration logs, and settings, is stored locally on your device.
If you enable iCloud syncing, Apple securely syncs your data between your devices using your Apple ID. LiftBasic does not have access to this data.
LiftBasic uses Apple HealthKit only to read your daily step count.
Steps are read from HealthKit to display your daily activity inside the app.
Body weight and water intake are not read from HealthKit — they are entered manually by the user.
LiftBasic does not write any data to HealthKit.
LiftBasic does not upload, transmit, or share HealthKit data.
All HealthKit data remains on your device and is handled entirely by Apple’s secure frameworks.
You may disable HealthKit access at any time in the Apple Health app.
Your data is used only within the app to provide features such as:
Workout history
Body weight charts
Hydration tracking
Daily step summaries
Personal records and progress insights
LiftBasic does not process your data for analytics, marketing, or profiling.
Your data is stored in one of two places:
On your device (default)
All information is saved locally using Apple’s secure storage technologies.
In your private iCloud (optional)
If iCloud is enabled on your device, Apple may sync your data across your devices.
LiftBasic does not access, collect, or transmit this data.
LiftBasic does not share your data with:
Third parties
Advertisers
Analytics providers
External servers
Your data never leaves your control.
LiftBasic allows you to export your data locally to files you control. Exported data is never transmitted by the app.
LiftBasic may request access to:
HealthKit (optional) — to read your daily step count if you choose to enable it.
HealthKit data is handled entirely by Apple’s secure frameworks.
LiftBasic does not store or transmit HealthKit data outside your device.
LiftBasic does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
The app is safe for all ages.
